The small round huts shown in this photo, comprised of mub brick walls and elephant grass roofs, were typical in my Peace Corps village of Gouna-Gaya. I remember waking up one morning to an amazing cloud-scape over my village. I soon found out that their dramatic appearance was a result of an incredibly large wind/sand storm sweeping in from the Sahara desert!
